The realization of unique outcomes for each project is achieved through a strong and reliable collaborative process that is initiated at an early stage, with emphasis on research and development, programme, context and sustainability.

WILL FUNG  completed his Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of New South Wales in 1998. Will travelled to the Netherlands in 1999 and joined Wiel Arets Architect BV where he worked on a diverse range of projects including single family houses, high rise apartments towers, stadiums, urban masterplans and industrial warehouse facilities.

Returning to Sydney in late 2000, Will was project architect at Engelen Moore for a number of retail and residential projects. 

Will joined Charles Markell to establish CO-AP in 2005.

Will is regularly invited as a guest assessor and critic of student work at the School of Architecture at University of New South Wales. In 2009, Will began part-time design tutoring at the School of Architecture at University of Sydney.

CHARLES MARKELL worked at Sydney based firm Peddle Thorp and Walker from 1996 to 2000 whilst studying at the University of New South Wales, where he collaborated in large scale residential and mixed-use projects including the Walsh Bay redevelopment on Sydney Harbour.

Upon graduation in 2000, Charles co-founded the design practice Coma Design focusing on retail and commercial projects. Some of the corporate clients included The Oroton Group, Pacific Brands and Gazal Apparel - developing retail concepts and delivering multiple stores for brands such as Morrisey, Calvin Klein Underwear, and Van Heusen respectively. Other works include a one-off commercial fitout for Grinham Managed Funds and multiple stores for Gelatissimo and jeweler Angus & Coote.

Charles joined Will Fung to establish CO-AP in 2005. Charles is currently on a sabbatical, studying post-graduate medicine at the University of Sydney.

TINA ENGELEN has travelled internationally during formative years on a regular basis with her Dutch parents who imported architectural designed product for their family business named DeDeCe.
 
Studied Interior design at Sydney College of the Arts from 1984-1987 leaving to take position as Features Editor at Interior Design and Architecture, a new magazine published by Herbert Yoma. 

Design internships with Arclinea and Burley Katon Halliday. Formed Daffodil with Danny Venlet and Marc Newson between 1990-1992 and under took private and collaborative projects between 1992-1995, then established the architectural practice of Engelen Moore with Ian Moore 1995-2005.

Engelen Moore had many projects published internationally and went on to win numerous national and international awards; including the apartment building Altair which won both “Best Building in the Australasian region” and “Best Housing Scheme in the World” at the World Architecture Awards 2002, Berlin.
 
She formed own practice ENGELEN, TINA in 2006. Tina joined CO-AP in 2008.
