Renowned Australian chef Christine Manfield approached us to design her Sydney restaurant Universal. The design was influenced by the exotic colours of spices and ingredients such as paprika, tamarind, turmeric and saffron. The result is a dining space reminiscent of the interior of a spice box. A series of modular outdoor banquettes were custom designed to accommodate daily changing configurations of the courtyard dining area.
